world that doesn’t want a piece of whatever Ryan Dungey’s got going on. Being, without a doubt, the most stable performer in recent years, he has comfortably commanded the 450 supercross class to this point; in all honesty, it’s unreal. When you think of greatness, when you think of your first time racing, your first gate drop, trophy, battle and win, you imagine what Dungey is currently doing. You may be dreaming of winning every race while throwing cranked turndowns over the finish line but bringing your dreams back to reality a bit, the Minnesota native has broken the series record for consecutive podium finishes this year, and continues to prolong the streak. In the rounds through last weekend and Santa Clara, it is clear to see that very few riders can run the same pace as Ryan and furthermore, none have shown the steadiness. Week-in and week-out, with heart and speed, Dungey and his Orange machine are going to be there. The question is, who will join him? With twenty-eight straight podiums, the entire Red Bull KTM team has been smiling since Anaheim, and have been in full control of the point standings behind the most consistent rider in Supercross history heading into last weekend. With time running out and only five rounds left, Roczen and the boys hoped to swim while struggling to stay afloat in the waves of Dungey’s dominance. Dungey, contrarily, came into Lucas Oil Stadium looking to let the good times roll and repeat his 1st place performance in Indy last year.
