In the main, Plessinger immediately takes on Gannon Audette and challenges him for the lead out of the gate – pushing ahead of Audette and malcom stewart. By the seventh lap of the race, Plessinger has put more than three seconds on points leader malcom stewart. Plessinger solidly dominates the final laps of the race – nearly nine seconds ahead of the field – he keeps putting more space in between himself and second place. From here it would be an open track up until the finish line – Plessinger would celebrate as he crossed the line and the crowd roared. This incredible win would give Plessinger his first main event victory, and boost him to second in the points standings.
