leaderboard over there with three races left to go. He’s been haulin’ inside the haybales so far this season, solidifying himself as the most consistent racer in the 250 class. Actually, with his win at round 4 of the East coast series in Detroit, Malcolm Stewart is the only 2016 lites winner that hasn’t missed a round or finished outside the top 10. Clearly an advocate for his brother’s success
and a proud supporter of a positive mentality, little Stewart overcame sickness to pull off the win in Detroit, all while riding the emotional rollercoaster that has seemed to shadow his older brother, James. Due to the struggles of the #7 in the premier class, Malcolm seemed to be suffering with the constant comments he made of his brother in pre and post-race comments during interviews. Despite what
it’s seemed like in the Stewart camp, Malcolm has come into 2016 surprising the entire field. He’s, of course, been competitive for the last few years but hasn’t always been in the spotlight. With precision, speed, consistent starts and impressive finishes, the #50 Geico Honda Rider came into Indianapolis to shine light on the doubts and continue the most competitive season so far in his career. Malcolm, entering with a 7-point lead, only need’d to keep the throttle twistin’ at Lucas Oil Stadium.
