Jake had a tough time in the Indiana ruts on saturday and was only able to qualify just

inside the top 15. Weimer was in a stacked 450 Heat 2 and had his work cut out for him.
Jake got a good start and was fighting for transfer postion right away. He shuffled back to 5th and sat there for most of the race. He finished 5th and would have first gate pick in the Semi. Weimer had the very inside gate in the Semi but was only able to come out of the first corner in 5th. He was still in 5th place by lap 3 and was working hard to pass into 4th. Jake made the pass and ended up going to the Main with his 4th place finish. When the Main Event began, Jake was ready to get the night over with and started around 18th. He bashed and banged his way through the first couple laps but would eventually lose to the rutted track in Indy. Jake was running 22nd by the end of lap 7 because of an unfortante get together with Barcia and Jake’s night in Indiana was over. He will move on to next weekend, ready for redemption.
