An uncharacteristic jump to the professional ranks left many wondering if Alex Frye could truly withstand the pressure of the top tier stardom. A true product of the KTM grooming process, the Maryland Terrapin’s latter stages of his amateur career was littered with injuries,
and competition at times seemed to overshadow him. The TLD squad remained faithful in Alex, and has received dividends in sticking with the young prospect, as a consistent presence of top ten finishes has left the industry impressed with his performances. He looks to rebound from his sixteenth place overall finish at Hangtown, and show the crowd at Glen Helen what he’s truly made of.
