Pennsylvania’s Luke Fauser came into the Baja Brawl as the rider
to beat in the 50cc class after putting his Cobra
on the top step of the podium down at Loretta Lynn’s Dude Ranch. Fauser put together incredibly consistent
rides in Hurricane Mills for the Amateur National Championships, never finishing off the podium and ending the weekend with two successive
moto wins. The national recognition for his extreme talent on a motorcycle blossomed
at the Daytona RCSX earlier this year when he won in decisive fashion. It wasn’t just the victory that did it, but also the style
in which he rode; he was launching a massive wall jump that some riders in the bigger classes didn’t even decide to hit right away...if ever.
