Fauser has made a name for
himself throughout the 2016 racing season, and he continued to grow the reputation of that name up in Millington, MI at the Baja Brawl. He contested four different classes; 51cc (4-8), 51cc (7-8), 65cc (7-9), and 65cc (7-9) Limited. Fauser’s best result in the 65cc Limited class was a 6th place, although he managed
to stay consistent throughout the motos and bring his Cobra home to
a 7th overall finish. The youngster out of Pennsylvania was even more consistent in the other 65cc class, finishing 5th in all three of his motos and breaking into the top 5 for 4th overall. He’s gaining valuable racing experience in the bigger class which will help drastically when he makes the move to the 65cc machine full
time. The 51cc classes were a different story as Fauser continued the domination that he displayed down at Loretta Lynn’s. He won all six of the motos that he contested and didn’t look to be any under serious pressure in any of the races. He got off to good starts practically every time the gate dropped, rarely having
to make too many passes to get to the front. The #462 Cobra rider set the fastest lap in all six motos, quite often doing so on the last lap of the race, which is a testament to his ability to stay focused and push for the entire race distance. He earned himself two Leonidas awards which will continue to pad the ever- expanding trophy collection that the youngster is accumulating. Fauser will be on a mission to continue his win streak in the smaller classes when racing starts back up at Ponca City.
