Biese seemed to make great strides on the 125 all weekend long, improving his finish every time he put his Dunlops on the track. He fought tooth and nail in one of the final motos of the Brawl with Colton Eigenmann for the moto victory, but he ran out of time to steal away the victory in a laste lap battle. Biese was able to find a way to take an inside line before
the big uphill triple in the middle of the course that didn’t sacrifice too much drive, but saved quite a few tenths on the stopwatch. It was a move that he used to pass Hammaker earlier on the day, but Eigenmann was keen to it and didn’t allow the Husqvarna of Biese the space he needed to get into the lead, forcing him to settle for 2nd place. Regardless of missing out on the victory, he was beaming to finish on the podium in the Schoolboy class and it seems to have given him a lot of confidence in his ability on the Super Mini as well. Biese will be training a little bit of supercross in the coming weeks in order to properly prepare for Monster Energy Cup, a race in which he’ll be expecting to continue his good fortune from the Brawl and keep his Husqvarna up on the podium.
