He took that momentum into the TransCan Grand National Championship in his home province of
Ontario and came away with two 2nd place overall finishes. He lined up at the Baja Brawl looking to improve upon his results at Walton and carry his good fortunes into the weekend of racing. The Team Green rider signed up to race all three 65cc classes and rode incredibly consistent all weekend long, only finishing off the podium once after a late crash dropped him down to 6th place. He took 2nd overall in the 65cc (7-11) class with a pair of 2nd place finishes and a 3rd. He was on pace to win the (7-9) Limited class after the first two motos, but he made a mistake while pushing for the lead against Krystian Janik that cost him the overall victory. Regardless, he still landed on the overall podium and there’s absolutely no shame in going for the win; furthermore, it’s that kind of drive and determination that is unteachable and has undoubtedly played a hand in his success so far in his young career.
