PRESTON MASCIANGELO
Preston Masciangelo came out of Loretta Lynn’s this year with a couple of top 10 finishes in the 65cc (7-9) class that eventually led to a 10th overall, but he wasn’t quite able to put together a good overall result in the (7-11) class with
bike problems and other mishaps affecting him throughout the week. Mother Nature made the
first couple days of racing extremely tough at the Ranch, especially on the mini bike classes, as
the track was carved up into a soft, rutted mess. Masciangelo returned back to his home country of Canada following the week of racing in Tennessee and could go home with his head held high, bearing the knowledge that he’s one of the top 10 amateur racers in the world in his respective class.
