>> Supermini 2 action kicked off the main events in the early hours of the afternoon on a freshly prepped track in the Georgia Dome. Two-stroke smoke rose towards the roof of the stadium as the rid- ers streaked toward the first corner; the Kawasaki duo of Jeremy Ryan and Jack Rogers battled throughout the early stages of the opening lap, but Ryan made a mistake in the third rhythm lane and hit the deck. A battle immediately developed for the lead as Kaeden Kniffing began to pressure Jack Rogers, eventually scrubbing his way alongside the Maryland native and executing a textbook block pass before the rollers section. Kniffing immediately put his head down and began to build a gap between himself and the winner
of the Supermini Dominator class. Kniffing was looking incredibly smooth and comfortable on the Rides Unlimited backed KTM ma- chine, scrubbing each and every jump with a purpose as he contin- ued to increase his advantage at the front of the field. After a couple of laps elapsed, the gap began to stagnate as the number #85 machine of Kniffing marked his competition, subsequently maintain- ing a sizable lead as he worked his way through lapped traffic. The Californian greeted the white flag with a gap of almost one entire section ahead of the B-Line backed Kawasaki of Rogers, smoothly cruising his way to the checkered flag as he grabbed the first main event win of Sunday’s Motofest festivities.
