LOCKY KENNEDY
AMATEUR ALL-STARS
IMAGE / MPG WORDS / KILPATRICK DESIGN / WILSON
>> The Amateur All-Star class was an intense battle heading into the first corner and the KTM of Locky Kennedy shot out to the early lead. He was followed by his fellow KTM rider, Caleb Carter, and the two of them began to fire themselves away from the rest of the field. Carter was pushing hard in order to close the small gap that Kennedy had created throughout the opening stages of the moto, but he pushed too hard and consequently washed the front end in the second-to-last corner. Kennedy had an enormous gap in the lead ahead of the Indiana native of Jaryn Williams and the home state rider of Jackson Gray. The two of them duked it out of for sec- ond position, but the intensity eventually burst when Gray jumped off the track in the second rhythm section. Meanwhile, Kennedy was in a race of his own in the lead as he gathered an advantage
of two entire sections over his competition. The KTM rider looked incredibly comfortable in the lead as he flowed around the track with bundles of confidence. He rolled his corners with perfect technique and eventually carried the momentum that he accumulated through- out the race to yet another main event victory to add to his tally.
