>> It was an epic battle through the first corner as the pack of screaming 65cc machines battled for supremacy. Daxton Bennick grabbed the early advantage on his Orange Brigade backed KTM machine and wasted no time stretching out a lead over the ensu- ing pack. The North Carolina native had accumulated a gap that spanned the entire length of the stadium floor in just two laps and he didn’t stop there, continuing to lay down hot laps and build a comfortable advantage in the lead. He was being chased by the KTM duo of Ryder Gwynn and Logan Best, but the battle for second was occurring quite a ways behind him. Bennick hit lapped traffic around the midway point of the race and handled it with a veteran level of composure, finding new lines in order to utilize the clear track available to him. The Orange Brigade rider was clearing every single jump on the track, stretching out his 65cc machine with style as he scrubbed his way toward the victory. He was the only rider
on the track wheel tapping into the rollers, displaying his technical prowess and the confidence that he possesses in his skills. Bennick eventually snagged the checkered flag with an extremely sizable advantage over the competition in one of the most dominant victo- ries of the day.
