Jason Anderson has locked down the skill of making a comeback after a bad start. In moto 1 he didn’t get the best start sitting all the way back in thirteenth. Ten minutes into the race he’s in 8th passing some heavy hitters along the way. Before he knew it he was behind Barcia and putting the heat on working his way into his next pass. Now with only ten minutes left in the
race Anderson begins a battle with Canard. After getting passed he quickly pulls the trigger in his strong section and passes Canard back right away. Able to keep his position in front of Canard, Anderson rounds out moto 1 with a sixth place finish. Knowing he could do better Jason Anderson pulled a better start in moto 2 running right around fifth place. Immediately he was all over the number 33 of Josh Grant who was running fourth at the time. Anderson put his bike in the way and got the pass for fourth. The race neared its end and Anderson was able to manage one more pass before the checkered flag giving him a third place finish in moto 2. His overall for the day was fourth just shy of the podium.
