problem or whatever, I dunno. I go out and and it’s like a dead engine start -- all the other people on the line have KTMs and Huskys, so they take off and I’m kickin’ my Honda 450. I nally get it started and they’re gone, but I catch them right away. I passed into the lead on the rst lap and I was like “I’m outta here boys!” I dunno what the heck I was thinkin’, but about twenty-one minutes into it, this huge anchor came yin’ out of the back of my pants and just dug into the ground, and I’m like “Ohhhhh, no!” I dunno even know where I nished, I think like fourth or fth. I had probably a two minute lead on second place and just popped, and just tried to survive. So, the last lap of the race I am shivering, I can’t stop shaking -- like my legs, my body and everything is shivering. I’m so cold. I’m like “What the hell is goin’ on?” and I nish and it was like I had Parkinson’s or something. I took all my stuff off and I’m sittin’ in the dirt in my underwear, pouring my cooler of water all over myself, puttin’ ice in my crotch and my armpits. I’m like “God, that was dumb!” But, it was fun though. I think if I do another one I’m gonna be a little bit more prepared. I don’t know what the heck I was thinkin’ treating this hour and ten minute long race like it was a seven lap sprint.
A couple of years ago, you decided to start up your own company with Ican Industries. Talk a little bit about your vision there and how things have been progressing.
I was a Western Power Sports rep for pretty close to ten years; I had a lot of success and it was an awesome company. I loved everybody over there. I was kind of tired of the traveling so much, I was gone like two weeks per month, and I was just kind of over that part of it. So, my wife is secure with her job and makes good money, so we talked about it and I was like “I’ve always had this vision where I want to do my own thing.” With my kids
