>> Fast Freddy Noren has always been a top ten threat in the 450 motocross championship whether it be on a factory or priva- teer machine. This season Noren is unfortunately a privateer but he has proved that he can run with the best of them consistently being the top finishing privateer multiple races this year. This weekend at round 5 in Tennessee was no different. Freddy got hit off of the start and went from near last to 13th. What is even more impressive is that he did it without rear brakes and his entire gear shifter broke off. It took the Honda privateer rider 10 minutes to get himself into the top 20. Noren should true GRIT as a privateer rider battling his way towards the top 10 the entire moto, making his final pass on the final lap on Dakota Alix who is on the well funded Rocky Mountain ATV/MC WPS KTM team. Fredric took full advantage of his top 10 start in moto two, secur- ing his best finish of the year in 8th. As the series approaches the mid way point at round 6 at the historic Red Bud track in Michigan you can expect to see the privateer in the top ten more often as the tracks suite his style as the dirt in the next few round replicate the same dirt he practices on at SOBMX.
