JAMES DECOTIS
#58 James Decotis- Decotis has shown a lot of heart and dedication to the sport of
supercross in 2015 which has resulted in a factory ride on the Geico Honda team for 2016.
Jimmy turned pro in 2009, and quickly became one of the most favoured riders after videos on youtube emerged of him ripping a 125 around the MX207 course. It was shown that Jimmy D, known as The Rippa, nows how to twist the throttle, and loves to keep his fans happy. After a few years of being in the mix Jimmy was on the edge of factory support and being a privateer, Decotis knew that he had to make things happen fast if he wanted to get a factory ride and solidify himself as a top rider. The Rippa was left without a ride for 2015 but James was committed to making the season his best one yet. Jimmy would ride a privateer Honda in the 250 East Coast series with support from Riverside Harley Davidson, Trail Jesters, and South of The Border. Decotis put more dedication into this season than ever before so it was frustrating for him to start the season, finishing the first 2 rounds in 15th and 16th . At round 3 of the East Coast Series Jimmy would get his Seasons best finish in Atlanta 2, with a 5th place finish. For the rest of the season James would finish inside of the top 10 at every round except one, showing that he can be a contender for a whole series.
