ELI TOMAC
Eli Tomac is without a doubt one of the hardest working riders in the sport. During this past offseason that is meant for relaxing, he had to work harder than ever before. Tomac has had to fight through some injuries throughout his career and he had the biggest fight this past offseason. Tomac had to recover from
double shoulder surgery. It is tough enough to bounce back from one shoulder surgery but two is another story. And not only did Tomac have to deal with rehabbing two shoulders, he had to deal with getting accustomed to a new bike and his new team, Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki. So clearly Eli Tomac did not have the ideal offseason but after a handful of rounds this season it looks as if he is finally starting to gel with his new machine and his shoulders don’t appear to be bothering him. He had a great 3rd place finish last week in Glendale and will look be pushing for another appearance on the box as the season rolls back into San Diego.
