theGRIT After qualifying fifth, the
wily old veteran looked to claim a remark-
able seventh win in
the “Plymouth of the West.” Avoiding first turn carnage, Reed was sixth as they finished lap one. Reed then rapidly approached the infamous Vince Friese, and made sure to ditch him quickly, taking fifth. Inching his way towards Jake Weimer in fourth, he collided with the new RCH rider at the apex of turn two, luckily staying upright and claiming fourth.
