As the gate meets the dirt the racers rocket off to the first turn of the 250 main, Craig narrowly
escapes a clustered start and makes it out in seventh. Craig immediately finds himself battling with
Cooper Webb. In the third lap Craig makes a move into sixth places and bgins to claw back ground toward the leaders. As Osborne puts pressure on him from the rear, Craig manages to pass Colt Nichols. By the fifth lap Criag has caught up to the leaders, by the sixth lap he beings to put pressure on Decotis. Webb washes out in the seventh lap and Decotis and Craig blast past him. With eigt laps to go Craig passes his teammate, Decotis. As Savtagy blasts off in the lead, Craig secures second place and begins to put distance on Deco- tis. By the ninth lap, Craig is now dealing with Webb. As the races carries on Webb creeps closer and closer to him. With three laps to go Webb is suddenly breathing down Craig’s neck, a narrow pass gives Webb second place and Craig stays on his tail. Craig hangs on to his third place and finishes cleanly behind Webb and Savatgy, maintaining a sold standing in the overall points championship – third place. His performance this evening definitely made the hometown crowd proud.
