Remounting the bike after time away is one of the most invigorating thrills a racer can
experience -- doing well after an injury is even better. Most riders have a decline in ranking while trying to make a come back from an injury, but Michael Lebi has been spending 2016 battling through the carnage of the middle of the pack as he tries to make his way up front. If Leib continues to battle in this way, it’s likely we will see him quietly make his way up through the rankings in due time.
