As the full line of racers grab a handful of throttle, the main event ignites. Will Hahn starts the event in sixteenth; he quickly makes his way up to fourteenth and tries to get around Pourcel, who puts up a serious fight. Millsaps makes a pass on Hahn in the fifth lap, and Hahn
finds himself in fifteenth place. In the seventh lap Hahn gets the slip on Pourcel and passes his way into fourteenth. As Millsaps fights to put distance between himself and Hahn, Hahn continues to hang on. Hahn refocuses his aim on Short who is clinging to thirteenth place in the eighth lap. At the eleventh lap mark Hahn finally gets around Short and takes twelfth after also passing Millsaps – but Millsaps passes Hahn back in the fourteenth lap and Hahn holds down thirteenth place. Will Hahn finds himself in between Short and Millsaps in the final laps. With Millsaps ahead of him, Hahn fends of Short as he tries to make his move on Millsaps. In the final lap, Hahn continues to push at Davi Millsaps. Until Jake Weimer passes him – Hahn finishes the evening in thirteenth place.
