KEN ROCZEN
Ken Roczen is a sponsors dream athlete. Winning a FIM MX2 World Championship at
seventeen years old, a 250 West Coast SX title in 2013 and a 450 MX title in 2014, he has
already established himself as one of the greatest motocross riders of all time. His results are enough to earn him big sponsor deals and factory rides, but Kenny is also one of the sports best representatives. He always has a positive attitude and is rarely seen without a smile on his
face. He Interacts well with his fans and is extraordinarily good with the media. Whether he is asked a positive, negative, personal or race related question, Kenny knows how to handle it in a peaceful manner. Last week Kenny did something that truly shows his good character and should not go unnoticed. Being there was no dealer signing scheduled prior to the race(which there typically is,) Roczen decided to use his spare time to visit a young boy in the hospital who recently experienced a bad motocross crash. He spent the afternoon with the injured boy, bringing him a signed jersey and making his dreams come true. Good karma may have been
on his side as he won his first main event of the 2016 season the next day. Riding for the RCH Racing Suzuki team, Roczen looks to win the one thing he hasn’t yet, a 450 SX title. Currently sitting second in the standings, trailing points leader and defending champion Ryan Dungey by twenty one points. There is a lot of racing left as Ken Roczen tries to win his first 450 SX Championship.
