Ken Roczen’s RCH Suzuki machine had a unique look at San Diego 2, as his bike resembled a fighter jet for Military Appreciation night. In the first practice session we didn’t see the Ken Roczen we typically do on the track. He pulled over numerous times to make adjustments to his bike and looked like he was not agreeing with the track. The hard base of the track made for slippery conditions that caused many riders to make bike changes throughout practice. Kenny would rebound and throw down a fast lap, quali- fying 4th overall.
