DAVI MILLSAPS
Just when we think Davi Millsaps career is over, he puts in another impressive ride. Everyone wants to know, can Millsaps win a main event this season? Davi has not won a SX main event since 2013. Already winning two stacked heat races this season and grabbing a 5th place finish
last weekend in Glendale, Davi looks to be back in his winning ways. He has admitted that he
doesn’t have the front runner speed for all twenty laps of the main event, but he certainly does for six. What does one do in a situation like this? Run the fast pace up front for ten laps and then fade dramatically? Or ride at a comfortable pace for all twenty laps and finish wherever that may be. Since Davi is not fading, one can assume he is riding conservative. It is still early in the season and difficult to determine when we will see the number 18 machine on the podium again.
