Round six of the 2016 Supercross series marks Jake Weimer’s third race on his new RCH Racing Suzuki ride. Starting the day off qualifying 15th, Jake Weimer was placed in heat race number two. A great start put Jake in a prime position to qualify directly out of the heat race, as he was running 4th for the majority of the race. The field quickly closed in on him with only 2 laps to go when Chad Reed and Eli Tomac shuffled him back to 6th. A tricky right hand first
turn caused a collision in the semi that almost brought Weimer to the ground.
