Eidan Steinbrecher burst onto the national scene
at the beginning of the 2018 season with some impressive rides at the JS7 Freestone Spring Championship, including a well-deserved num-
ber one plate in the 51cc (4-5) Limited class. The young Californian continued to show his potential throughout the season as he made his way back
to the top step of the podium at the Hangtown Motocross Amateur Shootout, taking the win in the 51cc (4-6) class. Additionally, he scored a top ten finish in the most competitive race of the year at
the Loretta Lynn Amateur National Championship, although he showed the speed to finish within the top five. A mistake in his first moto heavily affected his overall finishing position, but he fought back with
a 4th and 5th place finish in the final two motos in order to salvage the 10th overall spot, earning his spot as one of the fastest 51cc riders in the entire country. Consequently, Steinbrecher came into the 2019 racing season with rejuvenated confidence and the determination to finish on the podium. The first obstacle of the new season was the inaugural round of Supercross Futures at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona and the young Cobra rider had his sights set on the title in the 51cc (4-6) Limited class. It was evident in the first practice session that he was going to be challenging for the win, display- ing skills beyond his years on a supercross track.
