wasted no time finding the fast lines and began to put fast laps together right from the getgo, proving
to himself and those in attendance that he was there to take the title. Blecha lined up for the heat race
in the 65cc (7-9) class and immediately claimed the lead with an absolutely picture-perfect holeshot, fending off the fender of Vincent Wey’s Cobra in the opening corner. The two of them battled tooth and nail over the course of the four-lap sprint to the checkered flag, but it seemed that the Colorado native harbored a slight edge over his competition. Blecha’s consistent laps and unrelenting speed allowed him to build a one-second buffer between himself and Wey, allowing him to calmly maintain the gap until the checkered flag was flown. Although he only took the win by 1.4 seconds at the finish line, it was more than evident that he had the speed and composure to get the job done again in the main event. As the
