He passed the eye test as the fastest rider on the track during the 65cc sessions, wasting no time finding the fast lines on the track and jumping the big rhythms. Humphrey shot out of the gate with a purpose in the 65cc (10-11) heat race and ripped
the holeshot in uncontested fashion, immediately taking control of the race from the front of the pack. The KTM rider kept his focus on the empty track ahead of him and did his best to execute his chosen lines to perfection, building a gap ahead of second place lap by lap. At the end of the four-lap heat race, Humphrey had accumulated a lead of almost twenty-five seconds ahead of his nearest competition as he greeted the checkered flag. In the main event, it was more or less the same as he led the entirety
of the race ahead of Makai Olerich. The Indonesian native kept his composure throughout the five-lap affair and ended up crossing the finish line with more than twenty seconds in hand yet again, stamping
