Musquin was all smiles when the day began at Budds Creek. He was fast in practice and was ready to back up his 2nd place finish from the weekend before. When the
first moto began, Marvin got off to
a decent start and made his way into 4th place early on. After a back and fourth run with Nicoletti, Marvin began to pull away. He started to close up on fellow KTM rider, Short and was able to make the pass with 23 minutes left on the timer. Mus- quin continued to charge and made his way up to the next rider ahead of him late in the moto. He was able to go on the inside of Barcia before the rollers and secured 2nd place.
