The Bruiser has had his moments throughout the year, both positive and negative. But as they say, all press is good press, and to an extent, you can’t argue with that notion. The amount of coverage the Vince Friese/Peick scuffle generated was absurd, with media outlets spreading the video like wildfire. I’m sure there were more people to view that video, than the average amount to tune into a full race coverage broadcast on a particular weekend. Regardless, Peick has left the incident in the past, and reiterated to both fans and sponsors alike, why he is deserving of the ride in which he has. He’s consistent with results, always generates television time, and carries a hefty fan base, what more could you ask for on a generated return?
