ARNAUD TONUS
Arnaud Tonus has been coming into his own as the 2016 season starts winding to a close. I’m sure he and the Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki team would have liked his two year experiment in the U.S to go better but he is doing his best to make up for it now. Injuries and illness unfortunately have been the story for Tonus during his time here. They limited him to just three supercross races and one outdoor race a year ago in 2015 and hindered him during the supercross season this year. However he has finally pushed through all the bad vibes and energy and began putting together solid results during the second half of the season. He has had some great rides including a few moto podium finishes. He nearly had an overall podium at Southwick if it wasn’t for a last lap tumble. He appeared to have a great day going at Unadilla battling hard with teammates Savatgy and Cianciarulo before succumbing to the brutal heat. He wasn’t able to line up for the second moto so he has got to be raring for redemption this weekend at Budds Creek as he looks to finish his time here on a good note.
