We have reached the end of the year, which means it’s time for Aaron Plessinger to reel off some fantastic rides. Over the past two years Plessinger has enjoyed some solid seasons but seems to bring out his best performances at the final rounds. Last year he finished third, fourth and first overall at three of the final four rounds with that win being the lone one of his career. After last week’s races at Unadilla, Plessinger looks poised to keep the trend going after great rides in both motos going 3-3 for second overall. His first moto performance was one of the greatest rides out of any rider we’ve seen all season. In the final laps, he dropped the hammer and began throwing down lap times over four seconds faster than anyone else on the track. He caught all the way up to second place after starting outside the top twenty but settled for third after Savatgy was able to sneak back by. The speed he showed in that moto was definitely potential race winning speed but he just needs to get better starts if wishes to get back on the top step. Coming into Budds Creek, Plessinger has to be one of the favorites for the win as he succeeds on the rougher tracks and pipes it up at the final few rounds.
