>> Justin Bogle didn’t exactly have the Supercross season he was looking for and was eager to redeem himself as the summer series got underway in North- ern California. When qualifying began, the Oklahoma kid found his groove quickly as his Suzuki powered through the ruts of Hangtown. As always, his style was on point and his speed was impressive as well. When the gate finally dropped for the first 450 moto, Justin dropped his clutch with perfect timing as he launched his Suzuki on to the start straight. He was one of the front-runners going into the first corner but was forced wide, thus giving up his top 3 position. Bogle remained in attack position as he stood up all the way around the first corner. His technique paid off as he was running just inside the top ten through the first few sections. Unfortunately, the track conditions were grueling and Justin was forced to slip back to 13th by the time they saw the green flag. He knew it was going to be tough so he put his head down and was eating roost. He slowly began to reel in the riders in front of him. First, a mistake from leader Christian Craig handed Bogle a position. He used this as motivation, and continued to push forward. He was riding quick and smart and then made the move on Peick and Davalos. He finally settled into 8th place where he would finish. In the next moto, Justin got a fantastic jump as he guided his Suzuki to
a near holeshot. He filed in behind his teammate and was running right around top 5 throughout the first lap. He then slipped back just a couple positions as he crossed the green flag around 7th place. Tomac quickly made a pass on Bogle but he was able to now settle in. He then maintained 8th position for most of the moto. Then, with just a few laps to go, he was forced to give his position up to Jason Anderson and Blake Baggett. He was now sitting in 10th place and cruised all the way to the checkers. He would go 8, 10 for 10th over- all at Hangtown.
