>> Last year being his rookie Supercross season, the star racing Ya- maha rider, Mitchell Harrison, learned a lot that he was able to build on for the 2017 season. He had a rough start to this season; finishing off the first 250 East coast round back in 18th place. Working hard during the week, Harrison was hoping to build on his results in Georgia. The first gate drop of the night, the #45 Yamaha rider got a killer start sitting in third place through the first lap. Unable to hold off Hampshire, he fell back to 4th. Maintaining fourth place until the end of the heat race, Har- rison moved on to the main event knowing what he was capable of. As the thirty second board went up, Harrison put his game face on. Charg- ing hard to the first turn, he put his blue machine into the middle of the crowd. He was able hold on to 12th place for seven straight laps. On the eighth lap, he passed Kyle Cunningham moving into the 11th spot. With Kyle Peters all over him, he battled back and forth, but he was able to hold down 11th for a few more laps before he worked his way into 10th. Fighting hard for his spot, he wasn’t able to hold on getting passed by Hampshire right before the end of the race. Mitchell Harrison finished off his second main event of the season in 11th place, a huge improvement from last weekend.
