>> The rookie Cameron McAdoo started his first Supercross season on a high note finishing off the main in 15th even after running with
the leaders for part of the race. Getting a taste of what it’s like to be near the front runners McAdoo got the dreadful first round jitters out of the way and was ready to get the results he knows he is capable of. Starting out the night in the second heat race, the SmartTop Moto- Concepts Honda rider got a decent start well within the top ten and qualifying position. Riding a consistent race, the young rookie only lost one position finishing off the heat in 7th. Transferring right into the main event the #128 had the advantage over some riders of a decent gate pick. Around the first turn McAdoo was sitting right around 14th, not quite near the front where he was last weekend. Not letting his bad start phase him the Honda rider kept his head down and focused while trying to make his ascend back to the front. Spending the first half of the race battling back and forth with Cole Thompson, the Honda rider managed to come out on top holding down the 13th place position. He then made more moves passing Kyle Cunningham sending him up to 12th place. As the end of the race approached mistakes were made and McAdoo fell back a position. Now sitting in 13th the clock was counting down and the race was nearing its end. Facing some slick track conditions with that Georgia red clay the #128 was focused on keeping it on two wheels through to the finish. The rookie pulled off a 13th overall in his second ever main event, two positions better than last weekend.
