LAWSON BOPPING
Lawson Bopping made the right choice to leave australia, as he is making a name
for himself here in the states. earlier this week Lawson said “Well my goal coming
into the series was to just make a main event. I’ve made 3 out of the first 4 races so that’s been good.” Making the Main Event this season is nearly an impossible feat for a privateer. At Anaheim 1, the chances of joining the 20 factory riders in the Main Event were slim, but Lawson was able to get it done. “It was a good feeling for sure. It’s awesome lining up racing against those guys, almost surreal, you know. I’m so used to watching the Supercross on tv back home in Australia, but now after a couple of rounds it’s fine! I really want to keep racing here!”, said Lawson. This Australian is the real deal, and he is going to get better and better. Lawson is going to continue making mains, proving he has a place in American Supercross.
