Lawson had a good day in practice, qualifying 17th despite a shoulder dislocation. Lawson fought
through the pain and was going to do whatever it took to get into the race that counts. When 450 heat
2 began, Lawson came out of the gate with a near holeshot but shuffled out of qualifying position. In the Semi, Bopping started 6th but was catching the leaders quick. When he made the pass into qualifying position he was immediately passed back in a rough way and got punted over a berm, he would go to the LCQ. Lawson would go to the gate for his third race of the night and this time came out 6th, but quickly made short work of the 5 riders in front of him. The #778 Would take the win in LCQ. Bopping rode a solid Main Event and would finish off his long day in 16th. With a 18th, 17th, and 16th at round 3, 4, and 5 respectively, Lawson should be breaking into the top 15 next week!
