We are starting to see a pattern with rockstar energy racing husqvarna’s Christophe Pourcel. each saturday he sets a blistering pace in practice. Jumping to the top of the board in at least one of the qualifying sessions, he would do the same this weekend in Glendale AZ. Sitting in the
3rd position for awhile, Pourcel would qualify 6th heading into the night show. Riders strive for
the fastest lap time in qualifying so they get a good gate pick in their heat race, which usually leads to a good start. Pourcel for some reason has not taken advantage of his pristine qualifying efforts in heat races. He sometimes seems to hesitate when the gate drops and has been working his way through the back.
