Brandon Hartranft had a stellar 2015 racing season in which he really put his name on the map and garnered the attention of some factory teams. He started off the year by winning 5 titles from 3 different Spring Nationals, taking 2 victories at the JS7 Freestone Championships, 2 more at the Millcreek Spring Classic, and he capped it off with a win in the College Boy class at the Daytona RCSX. Hartranft’s 2015 season just kept getting better as he managed to snag his first ever Amateur National Championship with a 1st place
overall in 450 B Limited at Loretta’s. He also earned a 6th place finish in the 450 B class, compounding on his 5th place finish
from 2014 in the Schoolboy 1 class. The New Jersey native has stepped it up to the A class this year and is looking to prove himself
yet again as a serious contender for another Loretta’s title. Although the beginning of the 2016 season doesn’t match up to the start he
had last year, it’s fair to state that he set some incredibly high standards for himself. The 17 year old has still done some damage so far
this racing season, taking 3 overalls at the Millcreek Spring Classic as well as 3 overalls at the Fly Racing Spring Classic. He wasn’t
able to recreate his run of form at the JS7 Freestone Spring Championship or the Daytona RCSX, but he still managed to find himself
on the box in 450 A and get a 4th place overall in the highly competitive 250 All-Star A/B class, respectively. He also earned 57 points
in the AX Lites class over multiple rounds as well as a 16h place finish in the AX class in Allentown, PA. Hartranft’s road to Loretta’s has
been a closer representation of his 2015 form, finishing 1st or 2nd in all of his area qualifiers so far. He went 1-1 at Malvern MX in Ohio
as well as 1-1 at his ‘home track’ of South of the Border in South Carolina in the 250 A and Open Pro Sport classes. High Point will be
Hartranft’s first regional of the season, he’ll also be hoping that it will be his last, so that he can return to South of the Border to focus on

tracking down his 2nd Amateur National Championship. If he is able to win another title at Loretta’s two years on the trot, it will be hard
for the factory teams to deny him support going into 2017.
