Kobe Heffner had a picture perfect weekend at High Point although the conditions weren’t picture perfect for most of the event. He marched forward to a pair of 1 - 1 overall finishes in both the 250 B and 250 All-Star A/B classes. Heffner only finished off the podium once in the 250 All-Star class, taking a 4th place behind Vinny Luhovey in the middle moto. Heffner put in a solid ride in the opening race to grab 3rd place and rode a superbly collected race on Sunday in the mud to win the last moto ahead of Caleb Carter. The rider out of Georgia put together a stellar collection of performances in the 250 B class, winning 2 out of
3 motos in fairly commanding fashion. Heffner finished 2nd to Levi Newby in the last moto, but did all that he needed to do in order to take both overalls on the weekend and earn himself a spot on the gate at
Loretta’s in early August.
