Two days. Two days! TWO DAYS! Corbin Hayes had been back on the bike for two days when the gates dropped at Hangtown for the Loretta Lynn’s Midwest Regional Qualifier. For someone who was still healing from a broken back, you’d expect them to give a valiant effort and maybe make a top ten, at best. Not Corbin! He sent that Yamaha rocket ship of his to the top step in five of six motos!! How’s that for a comeback? Not even a get off in the Collegeboy Class could slow him down. He ended up 5th that Moto, but it was still good enough for a 2nd overall in the class. Corbin put up perfect 1-1s in 450 B and 450 B Limited for a 1st overall in both classes. To say he earned his tickets to “The Ranch” is an understatement. Look for big things from the Northern California native at this year’s Amateur National Championship!
