THE USUAL SUSPECTS
LEVI KITCHEN
It’s a long haul for Washington’s Levi Kitchen to make it to the Loretta Lynn Amateur National Motocross Championship year after year, but the Yamaha rider is headed back for more. Kitchen found some success in Hurricane Mills throughout the last couple of years, scoring consistent top ten results in the Supermini and Mini Sr. classes aboard a Husqvar- na. He’s since made the jump
up to the Schoolboy classes and competes aboard a YZ125, but the switch of manufacturers hasn’t killed his momentum in the slightest. The 2018 racing season has produced podiums aplenty, finishing on the box at the JS7 Freestone Spring Championship as well as the Cali- fornia Classic. Kitchen maintained the same form and displayed the same top level speed at Mammoth Motocross, claiming a pair of top five overall results at the end of June. The Washington native might have to travel further than most of the rac- ers attending the 2018 Loretta Lynn Amateur National Championships, but he has the potential to make the trip more than worthwhile with some strong results.
SETH DENNIS
Seth Dennis is no stranger to the podium and he’s certainly no stranger to the podium on the big stage, putting together an impressive collection of 1-2-1 finishes throughout his Loretta Lynn MX career. The Florida native has showcased that same level of dominance throughout the entirety of the 2018 racing season, both in the 51cc and 65cc classes. In addition to the collection of top finishes that he gathered throughout the spring events, Dennis dominated his Loretta Lynn Qualifiers as well. The Team Dunlop Elite rider finished in first place in both the 51cc (7-8) Limited class as well as the 65cc (7-9) class, propelling himself
to the forefront of the potential winners in both divisions. The Orange Brigade rider found the top step of the podium
at Mammoth Mountain Motocross in the 65cc division, providing the competition with a sneak preview of what he hopes to do in Hurricane Mills. Can the Little Ripper keep his podium streak alive and land on the box for the fourth consecu- tive year at the Ranch?
