STILEZ ROBERTSON
It will be the first time in Stilez Rob- ertson’s career that he’s missing out on the competition at the Loretta Lynn Amateur National Motocross Champi- onship. The four-time Amateur Nation- al Champion has had his fair share
of success in Hurricane Mills over the years, but unfortunately a torn ACL suffered at the JS7 Freestone Spring Championship forced him out of contention for the summer. The Team Green Kawasaki rider put forth his last ride in the Supermini class last year at the Ranch, finishing fourth and second overall in Supermini 1 and 2, respectively, before making his bike debut at the Motoplayground Race
at Ponca City. Robertson managed
to win his first major title on the big bike at the Thor Winter Olympics and continued his winning ways at the Anaheim Monster Energy Supercross. Injuries are an unfortunate part of the sport of motocross and it was an un- timely occurence to tear his ACL just before the thick of the 2018 season, but Robertson will be back on the bike in the fall, training his hardest at the Goat Farm in order to get back on top of the B class.
CROCKETT MYERS
Crockett Myers wasn’t able to make the trip to the Loretta Lynn Amateur National Championship in 2017, but the last time that the Georgia native competed at the Ranch was a wild success. The Team Dunlop Elite rider logged his best ever finish in Hurricane Mills with a second place result in the 85cc (9-12) class, but an injury in 2017 kept him from recording his second career podium at the Ranch. Myers started his 2018 Loretta Lynn’s campaign with a second and third place finish in the Supermini class at his Area Qualifier, leading him into the spring events with a boatload of confidence. The Suzuki rider earned a total of four top five finishes throughout the spring before moving onto JuniorMotoX to win the Supermini 2 division. He did more than enough to punch his tickets to the Ranch at the Southeast Regional Qualifier at Muddy Creek, finishing third and fourth in Supermini 1 and 2, respectively, despite an unwelcome visit from mother nature during the weekend of racing. Although Myers hasn’t raced in Hurricane Mills since 2016, he’ll likely be one of the top finishers in the Supermini division when the week of racing comes to an end.
