>> Rockstar Energy / OTSFF / Yamaha’s Chris Blose put him- self back at the sharp end of the field in practice, he didn’t skip a beat as he showed the pace of his royal blue steed by dropping a 20.79 in timed practice, putting him 4th overall. The Arizona native showed his speed in his heat race as he got out to a flying start behind the defending series champion. Blose was able to wield his Yamaha weaponry with alarming precision as he turned the fastest lap of the moto in an attempt to put pressure on Faith at the front. He wasn’t able to make a move for the lead, although he showed the Kawasaki a wheel multiple times, therefore he was forced to settle for 2nd. Blose was matched up against Wood- stock KTM’s Daniel Herrlein in his first head-to-head showdown and he was able to put on a show for the fans as he took the checkered flag ahead of the Ohio native. He moved on to the next round against Gavin Faith as the two attempted to settle their score from the heat race, but the results were no different as the Kawasaki rider came out on top. The main events definitely didn’t go as planned for Arizona’s Chris Blose, but a mixture of inop- portunity and misfortune caused him to struggle with his finishes on the night. The Yamaha rider ended up with 11th and 12th place finishes, respectively, but he had proven all day long that he had the speed to best those results by a mile. If there’s one rider that will be overflowing with motivation and make drastic improve- ments in his results when the gate drops in Grand Rapids - it’s the #2 machine of Chris Blose.
