FIRST COUPLE OF SES-
The twenty year old English native set out
to a solid start from the back of the grid as he
did his best to separate himself from his closest rival, Anthony Kosinski. The two of them were relatively close through- out the opening laps, but Flinders maintained the advantage and began to build a slight advantage over his fellow Yamaha rider. Flinders rode a consistent race in which he managed to earn eighth place overall in
the Superstock class, finishing approximately fifteen seconds ahead of Kosinksi behind him. In the second race, Flinders was able to better his race pace significantly, improving his best time by a colossal two seconds from the first race. The British born youngster found himself in a fierce battle with Kawasaki’s Ty- ler O’Hara for the majority of the race, and the two of them finished merely one tenth of a second apart from one another, but it was Flinders that got the short end of the stick. Nonetheless, he made significant improvements from the first day of racing and ended up capping
off the first round with a ninth place finish in the Superstock class.
