Daytona Anderson generated a
lot of hype heading into the 2016
MotoAmerica season. The young
Californian was setting the west
coast on fire in the club racing scene
as he scored forty-two podiums in
California, putting him out of contention for the majority of the 2016 racing season. Anderson was run over by another competitor in the incident and ended up suffering a ruptured spleen and a bruised heart. During the off-season preparation for the 2017 MotoAmerica Supersport season, Anderson suffered another crash during a training session that left him with a broken sternum, returning him back to the couch. The California native looks up to Ben Spies and Ryan Dungey as two of his racing idols and he’s borrowed their determined attitude
and work ethic to get back to where he needs to be
fifty-two races, establishing himself as one of the main contenders to break onto the professional scene. Unfortunately, his 2016 racing season took a turn for the worst at the beginning of the year as he experienced a gnarly crash at Chuckwalla Valley Raceway in his home state of
