BNick McFadden is one of the many riders out of the tight knit group of racers that call Owensboro, Kentucky their home. The nineteen year old midwesterner had an incredibly impressive debut
as a professional as he scored a podium finish in his first AMA race with a third place finish in the Supersport class at Barber Motorsports Park. In addition to his immediate success as a professional, McFadden was one of the most successful amateur riders in the country, earning multiple titles in flat track and road racing, eventually rewarding him the title of AMA Youth Roadracer of the Year in 2011. Since the inception of the MotoAmerica series in 2015, McFadden has placed his focus on the Superstock 600 class in which he has seen loads of success -- scoring an abundance of top ten finishes as well as multiple podium results throughout the 2015 and 2016 seasons. McFadden is set to contest the 2017 Superstock 600 series aboard a M4 medAge Suzuki where he’ll undoubtedly be one of the favorites to finish on the podium each and every round.
The nineteen year old was fortunate enough to receive the invite to race in the Supersport class at the opening round of the series at MotoAmerica, affording him the opportunity to get some relevant race testing in before the opening round of the Superstock 600 series at Road Atlanta. McFadden was arguably one of the most
impressive riders in the field from the very first session as he put himself on pace with the Supersport competitors, eventually qualifying more than a second ahead of the closest Superstock 600 machine. The Kentuckian secured a solid

start from sixth place as he settled into fifth position, but an unfortunate red flag prompted a race restart that sent him back to the grid. The M4 medAge Suzuki rider was able to replicate his launch on the second time of trying as he shot into the first corner in contention for the top five, quickly separating himself from the rest of the Superstock machines. McFadden rode an incredibly fast and calculated race in fifth place as he was the only rider on a stock bike to turn lap times in the 2:16 range, but he was forced to concede fifth position to the Rickdiculous Racing ride of Daytona Anderson in the waning stages of the race. Nonetheless, it was an incredibly impressive showing for the nineteen year old as he gained some invaluable racing experience heading into opening round of the 2017 MotoAmerica Superstock 600 Championship.
