completion of lap one. roczen was just behind however, and quickly made him yield, falling to
tenth. He remained steady with a top ten finish in hand, but it was still early; next up, Cp377.
Grant battled tooth and nail with the Frenchman for multiple rounds, until finally leaving him in the dust on lap twelve; he now sat eighth. Lap after lap, he continued to prove the critics wrong, steadying his heart rate and allowing his body to relax. He remained eighth until two to go, when a mistake on the behalf of Davi Millsaps caused the field to shuffle, resulting in a spectacular 7th place finish!
