Many sources said that anderson took a large tumble in the final qualifying session; explaining
why he only put two laps down, at a measly 1:42 effort.
Heat two didn’t go as planned for the wild Lobo, as he found himself seventh across timing and scoring to complete the first lap. He remained steadfast, nestled between Phil Nicoletti and Blake Baggett for the majority of the event until catching and slaying the Chupacabra on the final lap. On the contrary however, Anderson was in the top three of all fast segment times; yet, he still had to take his ticket to the next round, forced to race the semi.
